WERLA’s primary mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and release. In the future we look forward to offering educational presentations for schools, libraries, local businesses, community groups, nature centers, and public community events. For young children, we can offer hands-on activities related to wildlife and wildlife conservation. Public speaking topics can be broad, covering topics such as Louisiana wildlife and wildlife rescue, or focus on specific topics including education on an animal species. Please contact us if you would like to be added to our list for future educational opportunities. Availability is dependent upon our team schedule and the needs of the facility and animals.
